Ocean and the singing sands of PEI

We got to Prince Edward Island! Drive was scenic, and the 13km bridge to PEI definitely pushes the limits. The island is made of red sandstone, red sand, potatoes, and occasional other things. Lots of fields, most houses have a nearly trimmed grass patch in front, size of a football field, very distinct nice look. Lots of space, sky, and the ocean is always near, we see it on every other turn from the tops of the hills.
The house we're staying in is close to Souris, and it is awesome, the ocean view vast and relaxing. Sunrise is... well, I will remember the sunrise.

Today we went to the Basin head park with the beach, the sand here is 'singing ' when you walk on it, if moving with rhythm it'll provide a nice accompaniment. In the park there's a bridge crossing a salty stream going out into the ocean, a lot of fun jumping off the bridge and then getting back up and jumping off again. The trick is not to fight the current, it's stronger anyway. Also, watch out for people jumping off the bridge, there's a standing prize for the most epic belly flop!
